the social co-option of the term is not unlike what happened with the term "woke", but not so one-sided
The E stands for "equity", not "equality".
Starting to feel it's gone beyond a dog whistle. Most of those are far more low-key, like "thug" or "urban" or "welfare queen". And this one is more clearly defined by facts and usage than "woke".
They might as well come out and say, "This is what comes from hiring n*****s and women!"
