Why do most people choose to use WhatsApp over telegram??

Telegram is just actually superior in terms of features I don't get it.

Telegram is only ever in the new because it's being used by terrorists and criminals. I don't understand why anyone normal would use it.
- Because it's Zuckerberg free and has some actually good features like custom stickers.
- no criminal ever used whatsapp...?
- Because it's better than Whatsapp.
- It's just a messenger app. Whatsapp is probably used by more criminals on the whole, but there's no reason for that to make the news
