  • Vancouver police say several people have been killed and multiple others injured after a vehicle drove into a crowd at a street festival Saturday evening.

    The incident happened shortly after 8 p.m. near East 41st Avenue and Fraser Street, where the Lapu Lapu Day Block Party was taking place.

    Police said the driver is in custody.

    • Putang ina. For the culprit, I'd have him removed by mod, but I think another lesson is that they should rlly set up rough roadblocks for this area to avoid people like that.

      • There were barriers at the event, they had been moved as part of normal procedures to let vehicles resupplying food trucks into the street.

        Friend of mine lives right on the block where it happened, heard screams and saw the aftermath out his window.
