As a parent, I'll sign off on that.
Him? Wasn't he recently outted as a drag queen?
Drag queens are mostly guys, and DeSantis certainly presents male, so "he" is appropriate when he is not performing.
I think that was Tennessee governor Bill Lee.
George Santos is who I am thinking of, why are there so many of them in this closet!
