Is this their counter to dedollerization? Can't trade in your own currency if you don't have your own currency taps forehead.
Except you can't use btc or crypto more broadly for anything resembling commerce because it's a volatile speculative asset. Tesla stopped accepting Bitcoin when the SEC told them they can't list crypto alongside cash on hand in their quarterly statements because of said volatility.
