Hello everyone,
There has been some discussions lately about the moderation of some LW communities (see !yepowertrippinbastards@lemmy.dbzer0.com for details)
Which made me think that we currently don't have any active LW mod, the only remaining one being @UndercoverUlrikHD@programming.dev
So why would we not consider moving this community to another instance?
For people curious why moving the community to another instance would be beneficial:
- LW has a 7-days delay with instances like aussie.zone (https://feddit.uk/post/18336398)
- Having most of the instances on LW give a lot of power to the LW admins and mods, while spreading them out could be more ideal from a power distribution perspective
- Previous communities have already migrated successfully, like !casualconversation@lemmy.world
