I'm a bit surprised, was there not one already? On a queer instance? 🤔
Genuinely interesting.
- There's also no really decent or active feminist communities on this platform (unless the good ones are all on some defederated instance I haven't seen). And the discussion for Harley Quinn that has just come out is a ghost town. And there's no Xena community, or She-ra. There is at least an Owl House community though.
  None of these things really have to be connected and this is all anecdotal but I get the impression that this platform (Lemmy as a whole , not Blåhaj) is short on women in general. At least compared to Reddit or other platforms like Bluesky.
  Edit: no WitchesvsPatriarchy either (besides some dead community that someone tried to make non-binary specific) and I'm sure I could keep listing them as I remember what I've tried looking up here, or if I just go check my Reddit account.
  Edit 2: Even Lemmy's version of twoxchromosomes only has two posts with a total of one comment and one upvote between them.
  
  I have noticed a distinct lack of she ra memes, and given I named myself Adora, I always found this disappointing, maybe I should be the change I want to see in this world.
  
  I'm not the moderator type myself but I would definitely be there upvoting / lurking / throwing in an occasional two cents. You're actually making me consider a rewatch now lol.
  
  Harley Quinn has started releasing again? I'd been waiting and forgot to check up on it in a while. Hype!
  
  Fuck yeah! Only two episodes out so far though. And 20 minutes a week for this show is a bit of torture. Especially without the random discussions and memes to keep you going until the next episode.
  
  There is a feminism community on beehaw I came across recently. Yeah I haven't seen Harley Quinn anything here and I love that show! Still meaning to watch She-Ra. Hazbin Hotel is awesome too! I love Charlie and Vaggie!
  
  She-ra is a blast IMO. Definitely more suitable for all ages than Harley Quinn and Hazbin Hotel though lol. Not to say there's nothing for adults but it's not as edgy or violent.
  Hazbin Hotel was also great. Not a fan of the music personally (please don't kill me) but loved everything else about it, from the concept and message to the characters, especially Charlie and Vaggie. Haven't actually checked when season 2 is coming. Losing track in this place.
