The Senate has confirmed Pam Bondi as U.S. attorney general. Her confirmation puts a longtime ally of Donald Trump at the helm of a Justice Department that has already been rattled by the firings of career employees seen as disloyal to the Republican president.

The vote fell almost entirely along party lines, with only Sen. John Fetterman, a Pennsylvania Democrat, joining with all Republicans to pass her confirmation 54-46.

With no due respect, fuck Fetterman.

Democrats need to do better.

Fetterman seems to be a case study in how brain damage makes one a con.
- My father was republican, which makes sense because he worked in finance, but it wasn't until his TBI that he started drinking the Maga kool-aid.

  Trump was a Democrat as well until Putin told him he could be a dictator instead. Note he stated in several interviews he talked with him directly and indirectly. Said he met him in person during interviews in 2023-2014 time period. Then when he ran for president both Trump and Putin both went to the narrative they had never met before.
- I has a TBI when I was a kid, and other than thinking classical libertarianism had a place in any modern society, I just keep getting more angrily lefty as time goes on.

- No he was just gaming you guys. He was always a silver spoon, oligarch’s nepo baby. He just played you guys by simply wearing a hoodie and shorts and pretending to be an every man, and distracting with his wardrobe. I remember when he was being pushed, i was saying that he was not to be trusted and people should not rush to worship the guy. I used to get downvoted and banned for saying it then .
  Reminds me of years ago when I’d get downvoted for telling people that “cute uncle Joe” with the memes was actually a horrible example for the left and had a terrible record. “But the ice cream memes!”
