CAD, audio, video, music production. \n\nThe main reasons I use macOS are [GarageBand](https://www.apple.com/mac/garageband) and apps for [DJing](https://serato.com/). Anything audio still breaks far too often on linux or is otherwise a pain.\n\n[OmniGraffle](https://www.omnigroup.com/omnigraffle) is so fantastically great, there's no linux equivalent.
