Well its much easier to remember a relatively short life, but i'm not sure that they really "remember" any more than having muscle memory.

Ok this does make sense, but also you have to understand that many people say "who asked" as a mean to attack people, often with a thinking emoticon exactly as you put it. I will give you a benefit of the doubt and assume that was a coincidence, but i am deleting my comment anyway. Sorry not sorry, cheers!
