Just upgraded my M1 Air, loving the new animated wallpapers and lock screen.
My only pet peeve is that the offline phase of the upgrade took a whole 20 minutes, when no other OS takes that long - yes, even for Windows, the offline phase of an upgrade is usually in single digits.
So this is something Apple needs to improve upon, IMO.
Were you low on disk space?
I've got 40GB free, not sure if that's considered low or not though.
That’s not bad, just finished mine took about 15 minutes between press of the button to complete reboot. It 6 ish gigs to download
I have an M1 and will be upgrading soon. I'll keep an eye ro see if it takes that long.
