ATTN: SQUAREDCIRCLE USERS!

Gonna have to post this one from Lemmy, apologies.

Not sure what is going on, but kbin/lemmy seem to be having federation issues over the last day or so. Several posts have been made by kbin users such as myself, but don't seem to be pushing to Lemmy. Lemmy users posting do seem to federate to kbin. I am unsure at the moment if this also counts for comments, but it does for threads at least.

I'll try and see if it's being mentioned elsewhere, but if any of you haven't seen much posted in the last day or so, that seems to be why.

Will update when able.

Edit: Comments seem fine both ways, just threads.

Edit2: https://kbin.social/m/kbinDevlog/t/642285/kbin-RTR-19-Summary-of-current-work-and-plans-for-the Seems to contain some user comments indicating its definitely happening to other kbin communities as well.

  • Just scrolling my feeds (both subs and all) everything is from 2 to 3 days ago. Tried sorting by new and got an error. If I specifically go to SquaredCircle, it seems normal, but every other boost/upvote attempt gives an error.

    • Fixed, thank you for pointing it out. During the night or in the morning, when there is less traffic, I will try to resend all unsuccessful requests.

This week, I will be setting up test environments for other platforms, so I will try to catch such issues more quickly.

Ernest's reply to the inquiries about all this. Hopefully it wont take too long to all click back together lol.

      • Right on. I'm subbed to kbinmeta but it seems to get buried by my other subs. May be best to follow Ernest directly.

        • Definitely. Hell memes bury 99% of my useful shit (but I chose that so I can't complain lol).

Just double checked across 2 lemmy accounts, 1 is almost all caught up thread wise save for 2 (lemmy.zip), the other is the same cept missing 3 or 4 (div0), so it's pushing at a good pace!
