It's time to admit Lemmy has won the "the biggest reddit alternative" award, why it's time for all of us to consider supporting it (here's why) + reopening r/LemmyMigration
Everyone in that thread has Stockholm syndrome. They're so used to being force fed shit that they couldn't possibly believe that an online platform could be run any differently than Reddit.
And, everyones total misunderstanding of the fediverse.
Yea, no wonder it's all tech people here, dumbass
Yep - you can go to /modlog on an instance you should be able to see activity there. You can search your username and see what actions have happened against you. Unfortunately, and quite critically, it doesn't show which mod, and the reason will always be something vague like "rule 1" with no other explanation (which I guess is fair enough when you're dealing with volume).
I've had comments removed and a temp ban from !worldnews@lemmy.ml because they didn't align with one of the tankie mods views - I only knew about it a month later when I looked through the modlog.
Does it show which comments are removed? More importantly, is there a setting I can use to just ignore moderator removals and read the comments anyhow?
I wanna basically be able to subscribe to a moderator/admin or ignore what effect they're having so there isn't someone else deciding for me which content is visible.
