  • Can't access the article but i think its complete bullshit, i really doubt they had any influence in China's internal economy policies lmao.

    • Yeah my bet is that the think tank just waved a some paper at them completely unsolicited and got ignored, which is enough for them to say they totally are top advisers

      • its also pretty racist to even consider it: "Such primitive people can't possibly figure out their national interests, we the civilized west must've advised them"

        • And it's especially funny when you compare the state of the respective economies and diplomatic image of the "civilized" vs "primitives"
