I'm not saying that teachers shouldn't be paid more, but people need to realize that teaching is one of the few professions that still offer pensions.
What good does that do if you can't make ends meet to reach retirement?
I don't know about you, but the grocery stores around here don't accept pensions as payment.
Every person taking a pension is very confused right now as they go to the grocery store and pay with their regularly paid pension money.
So it's ok if people aren't paid enough because eventually when they retire they get a pension? I think you didn't read the thread properly.
