why is being like reddit a bad thing? it's the best link aggregator on the internet. until new released the site was great. imagine not wanting a link aggregator like reddit before they made their own app and doomed the UX to modernized oblivion.
Reddit sucks, hence why it’s crashing and burning dude lmfao, why don’t you go and try and fix that, instead of making something that’s awesome worse so it can also die the same way?
And in case we weren’t clear enough here. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, you’re clown.
reddit is dying because of the company, no other reason. acting like this place is some how better when the largest of nitch subs barely get 2 posts a week is simply ignorant.
It’s just not your cup of tea, and that’s fine, the door is over there.
You don’t go to a techno club demanding they become a dance club because all clubs have to be the same do you? How’s this any different…?
Club is the community and techno and dance are the instances, they have stuff in common as well as being different.
The only ignorance here is you wanting this to be something it has zero intention of ever being. This isn’t Reddit, nor does it want to be be. How is this so hard for you to comprehend…?
yeah. i don't like link aggregators that fracture communities and post 12 different copies of the same link to the front page. that's my problem, not the sites.
Than the door is over there, this is a different type of link aggregator…
How is this so hard for you comprehend mate?
It’s not fracturing communities, you’re free to join multiple, it’s only an issue because you want it to be. And just don’t view the “front page”…? Join the communities with the content you want. There’s no curated content here, the front page is just what it is. Again, not Reddit, doors there.
this site is gunna be real successful if you tell people to leave every time they point out glaring issues LOl. enjoy your site with 12 copies of the same content taking up half your front page for days.
How’s it an issue though? You’ve yet to explain how it’s an issue other than it’s not Reddit, yet I’ve been extremely clear as to why it is the way it is.
Someone’s just bitter their website is dying and this isn’t a clone it seems.
Please explain how it’s actually an issue, we don’t want your opinion, and yes it will be successful if we get all of these Reddit troglodytes out the fucking door…..
The comparisons to Reddit are all over your comments and your name is also a Reddit trope… you aren’t being clever and you’re still not addressing any of my points, what a fucking shocker!
im comparing lemmy to link aggregators. you're not supposed to have multiple copies of 1 link at the top of a link aggregator. that defeats the entire purpose of the system. and the hilarious part is that you tried to link 2 separate communities talking about the same article, but both were filled with the exact same comments. you're so blind to the reality of the situation that you can't even read.
