Doesn't help stereotypes of the midwest that their version of communism is still just for large (white) adult sons.
What do you mean by “large white adult sons”?
I mean there's a lot of Gerthup Duthrie juniors who are hot shit in town because their dad owns a used car dealership.
The fact that a "marxist" from the Midwest has the politics of "step one, fuck minorities" reinforces that aesthetic.
