Romania's Supreme Council of National Defense members decided to donate the Patriot system to Kyiv in view of the "deteriorating security situation" in Ukraine amid Russia's intensified attacks, the statement read.
Germany gave up 1/3 of their Patriots for Ukraine, along Iris-T SLM, Iris-T SLS, Gepards and Skyrangers. And if "size" is so important to you (compensating?), support by GDP of Germany is about twice as much as that of the US. You're welcome.
US has 40k troops stationed within Germany to defend it against Russia for which Germany does not pay... and frankly, this is a Europe problem, not US, anyway.
Germany has nothing to stand on right now. Merkel leadership go it cornered to where Germany was forced by its allies to get its act straight. You don't get praised for blundering and then half assing the job until 1-2 years into the war.
Just STFU and deliver materiel, until then Germany's reputation and geopolitcal standing is tarnished as an unreliable ally who is willing to sacrifice European security for cheap Russian gas so it can profit.

The US has troops in Germany because they want to. If they want to defend Europe against Russia, they should maybe sent them to a country that borders Russia. But this is one of the many garbage talking points you people try make reality for several years now.

Merkel hasn't been chancellor for years. No idea what the rest of your incoherent babbling is supposed to mean.

We do, we're literally the largest supporter of Ukraine in Europe, by a long shot - to the point where they make the US look weak in comparison. And sorry to disappoint, but we haven't bought any Russian gas for like a year now. Speaking of unreliable ally... Who didn't sent any aid for half a year, supporting the Russian invasion with that move? Who forced Ukraine to give up their nukes and bombers for some half assed security agreements?
