fix: stability issue when app started with no connection
fix: drawer gesture for anonymous users
fix: comment appearance (bar theme, font size)
fix: about dialog text color in dark ...
After 5 days from from the latest stable release I collected your bug reports and feedback and released a hotfix with a series of corrections: crash when the app was opened with no connection, comment appearance (bar color theme and font size), text color in the "About" dialog, some improvements to Lemmy reference handling (i. e. user mentions and community handles), and a small fix for navigation drawer gesture for anonymous users.
@N7_X@lemm.ee and I are working on several new features for the next release, i.e. bottom menu bar customization (you'll be able to choose what items and in what order they are going to appear), improved text selection for post/comments/inbox items, more Markdown features like subscripts and superscripts, and so on.
I want to thank all those who are reporting bugs and giving advice, those who are helping with raising awareness about this project — a special mention for @poliverso@feddit.it — and all the translators who are submitting their translation in Weblate, making it possible to reach a wider audience and helping everyone to "feel at home".
maybe a b$43^g, something is not allowing keyboard to show up in Explore section, works 70% of the time. Try to type something in, hide keyboard, delete part of word and you will see that it doesn't consistently bring up the keyboard
... and the release version doesn't match in about tab, official is -pre. I think it would look better to place version number below 'App version:', easier to read
One can no longer trust BuildConfig nowadays... that is an autogenerated field, probably something went wrong in the build process and that step was skipped.
