How did your last attempts at shoplifting go?

For me the last 2 times it was actually not planned at all:

• i was trying to buy marked down nail polish and it just didnt beep at the self checkout even when trying multiple times
• i needed a cheap cap for a festival and at woolworth(still exists in europe, its like a dollar store) there was just nobody at the checkout and then I just looked around if any employee was nearby and left
