Haha, no thanks. Playing online should be "free" - included in the price of the game. Yes, hosting costs money, but Sony doesn't host game servers for third party games.
Playing online is free on PC, and so are cloud saves in most launchers.
Fuck vendor lock in.
This is the prime reason I stopped buying consoles.
