I use f-droid to update the app. Didn't see the recent updates and saw the failed build after a search.

F-droid seems to have done a recent cleanup of apps, focusing on non-foss stuff. Not sure if that has an effect, but sharing the info.

I'm using Thunder. I never did like Jerboa.
Aah. I always liked Jerboa.
Thunder has far more options such as a keyword filter.

It hides posts based on the keyword.
As a non-American I ABSOLUTELY need this functionality in Jerboa to filter out the political content that accounts for a huge part of the posts nowadays.
Filtering USA politics is why I use Thunder instead of Jerboa.
Maybe you can open an issue for enhancement on github, if it's not already there
I generally don't scroll through the main page/feed, but go to particular communities that I like.
A multi-community option would be the thing that would be most useful for me.
There is an issue on it on the lemmy github page, but there seems to be differences on how it should be implemented.Are there any apps that could emulate such features?
