Sounds like another way to advertise freemium garbage
- Well if the mobile gaming market wasnt so awful we might see ads for half decent games that aren't just gonna spam u with IAP ads
- Rule 9 - please keep it civil.

I'm still amazed people use the Google Play store as a discovery mechanism. I only open it when I need to install something specific
- You're in a bubble. ~99% of the population is not on reddit/lemmy or other android communities where they could discover new apps. They find out about new apps from friends, from news articles, or through the Play Store.

sure why not, everything is TikTok-ified at this point
