Reddit had terrible performance and was just lame. I am so glad they fell apart and brought me to Lemmy. It blows it away.
Whilst developing sync I've been constantly surprised how goddamn fast Lemmy is.
And federation, too! It's pretty neat!
Lemmy's NSFW scene is unfortunately not nearly as active, especially if you're into more niche kinks. It's getting better and will hopefully continue to pick up, but as far as porn is concerned Lemmy is still miles behind Reddit.

As someone who does not watch porn and never saw it on Reddit or Lemmy, why does it have to be on community platforms? Aren’t there already numerous websites explicitly for porn?
Amateur content does a lot better on places like Reddit, a lot of porn sites pretty much don't allow it
