People who have sleep apnea, what was the biggest sign?

having someone sleeping next to me say that I snored a lot and even stopped breathing at times overnight

Falling asleep while driving to work in the morning, after 'sleeping' for 8-10 hours. (reasonably new properly working car, no reason to suspect CO poisoning)
