Latest Vote Count Shows Only 3.2 M Voters Stayed Home
With 98.3% of the votes counted.
Last week we read 10M people didn't vote, now it's down to 3.2.

One extremely important thing to note about 2024 turnout—it was only down in uncompetitive states. Turnout was, on average, higher in swing states compared to 2020. Democrats did not 'stay home' in the states where it mattered and you should ignore anyone trying to explain Harris's loss that way.
Lots of stretches of the imagination all over the place about why Harris lost.
The DNC will of course do whatever it needs to make sure the mirror is not placed in front of it.
So it seems the people really wanted trump
More like they didn’t want another four years of biden/Harris.
All but one trump voter I know held their nose to vote for him. And the one who didn’t is a cultist.
I don't have anything that breaks it down by party, but this WaPo map shows WI, MI, PA and GA all broke 44-year records for turnout.

That said, it feels kind of squicky that it's WaPo and the University of Florida presenting this. Given their exciting editorial turnabout on the endorsement and Flordia being Florida - eh.
