I do not believe that for a second. Don't get me wrong, I don't think any of them are bastions of truth but fox is NOTHING but propaganda. I think the other keep some nuggets of truth in there with the proaganda.
Harris didn't lose because of Biden's COVID policies, she lost because she said she wouldn't have done anything differently than Biden even with hindsight. Look at the betting odds and polls right after her interview in October where she said that, that's the point when everything reversed.
Last year, people wanted change and Harris offered more of the same. That's why she and Democrats lost.
That's only true because Trump would've made the same mistakes. He signed the first stimulus bill, after all, and was pushing for weird alternative treatments, so I have no doubt he would've had similar policies that would've continued to disrupt global supply chains and unbalance monetary policy.
The problem here is short sighted policies (i.e. win the midterms) that juice things enough to punt problems down the road.
What we should have done IMO is strongly encourage the elderly to stay home and otherwise keep business as usual. Lots of people would get sick, but we'd get some level of herd immunity quickly and keep the economy moving while protecting the most vulnerable. Both candidates would've juiced the economy with stimulus packages, and that directly contributed to inflation.
It’s true though. But to keep the economy stable it would have meant standing aside while Russia took Ukraine. Republicans are exactly the kind of people who like to brag about all the things America has done to help the world while not wanting to those things in the first place.
