Or will Google’s smartwatch ambitions end up abandoned yet again?

It looks like it requires a subscription. That'd be enough for a no from me.
- Yeah, that is so stupid. Right now, I just export all my Fitbit data via health connect (ironically) to Google Fit. I get all of the "paid" insights on the Fitbit app there for free and it's a nicer interface that combined ALL of my data.
