      • Yeah I've been looking for a linux phone originally and stumbled upon this in the process. Seems more viable too tbh since everything's already optimized for smartphones unlike say Ubuntu touch.

        • I dunno, at this point I view android as tainted. Even if you degoogle it, apps are basically tracker and ai trojan horses these days.

          Linux phone are attractive because there aint no apps for that.

          • That's not quite true actually. You can get safe android (compatible) apps for virtually anything if you stick with foss and trusted sources. And Linux has its fair share of shady software too.
