  • On paper it's not the worst result, we were at Old Trafford, and behind.

    • On paper it's a terrible result and in reality it's even worse. They can't buy a result and yet got a point they'll be very happy with from us.

    • Agreed to some extent. But Old Trafford or not (and honestly, it seemed relatively quiet there because of the slump they are in), against this shite Yanaited team we should have won it comfortably. Even with our currently decimated squad we should have got a win. It was clear what their attacking strategy was, and yet we kept playing into their hands. We shouldn't have gone behind in the first place.

      • For an hour we dominated in terms of possession but couldn't do fuck all with it. I know Arteta thinks crossing is a numbers game, but cross merchant teams don't win trophies. We needed something more in order to overwhelm them and Arteta didn't provide that. I know Nwaneri had a stinker but he was still better than Merino. Why not try Trosaard, Sterling, Nwaneri and Martinelli on together for five or ten minutes.
