So by adding "enrichment" to the torture program they're preventing the harmful effects of being tortured for years? As opposed to just stopping the torture program?
Yeah like, they could just...not do solitary confinement. Or prisons for that matter if we really want to get into it.

I agree that solitary confinement is torture, but at least according to the article, this drastically cuts down on the length of time that people are put in solitary confinement, so harm reduction. It also appears to help them get out of prison sooner and handle things better when they get out.

Can you list the news and information outlets that you consider as reliable sources of truth? I doubt that there have been studies about this.
