I logged out of the beta in 2019, i still regret it today...
- I'm using the new interface without being in the beta program. I just sideloaded the beta APK and updated my version and it worked.
  
  Just go to apkmirror and be sure to download a (beta) version that works on your device.

  EDIT: I have the new interface now, it looks cool (jk telegram is better)
I must have had that update for a couple of months, I can't tell the difference between the screenshot and what I have.
