What did your engagement ring cost, married/engaged people?
To me, money isn’t everything. It’d be nice if I got something that cost a lot, but I’d also be fine with something cheap as long as it’s high-quality and not like a Temu ring or something.
We got each other the same ring off Amazon for $12.😂 😅
If I got the maths right I paid the equivalent of € 510 for the pair. That was in '09 or '10, the actual cost was R$ 1100. ::: spoiler maths Acc. to this gov calculator 1100 reals in June 2009 have the same purchase power as 3277 reals in April 2025. The current real/euro conversion rate is 6.42:1, so 3277/6.42 = 510. ::: ...it was a really nice pair. A shame the relationship didn't deserve it.
EDIT: worth mentioning it was an engagement, not a marriage.
