if it can't be disabled it's a shitty move designed to force people to buy more storage
- Shout-out to Immich, the self-hosted alternative. It's got all the same functionality as Google Photos.
  It's a little difficult to set up but it's so handy to have once that's done.
  
  Is it possible to search after photos with stuff like "tree" . I couldnt see if it has some image recognition build in. Thats something i like with google.
