Android 14’s user-profile data bug seems indistinguishable from ransomware
Users with multiple profiles are getting locked out of local storage and losing data.

What I get from TFA is that this bug only affects those who use both several user profiles AND work profiles. Anybody knows if it also affects those who have a work profile but only one user profile?
I'm in the latter category. My CalyxOS cellphone is on Android 13 and unlikely to get Android 14 anytime soon, as CalyxOS is well known for getting updates later than everyone else - which is also one of the reason why I chose it, so I can let others beta-test Google's latest bugs. But if this is something I should watch coming even if I only have one user profile, I'll disable updates until it's fixed.
