i'm looking for a backup tool for app settings, documents and other data

i'm gonna reinstall windows but i don't wanna lose anything. windows only backups the desktop. you can copy appdata folder but my apps all over the place. i don't have space for disk image by the way. is there an app for backing up every personal thing?
