Dungeons and Dragons is non-euclidian. The length of the hypotenuse is equal to the longer of the two sides. Yes, it's silly. But that's RAW
13 2 ReplyThat's only true for movement. For areas of effect, there are templates for each size for square grids that are roughly shaped like real circles.
