Google and Samsung might be merging Nearby Share and Quick Share

Pretty sure both of them have something to benefit from in this scenario. Knowing how often they partner up, might be true. Most likely Samsung will just give up the feature name and favor Google's option as a transparent replacement. Google gets the feature name, Samsung gets to brag it is now compatible with all other Android devices. Ez.

Nice. I'd much rather they kept the nearby share name but whatever.
