Google Messages web app now supports direct reply-9to5google

Google Messages on the web rarely gets updated, but a recent addition lets you directly reply to RCS chats like on Android...

I remember they where testing this when they first implemented direct replies

Great news. I was trying to direct reply via the web app recently and was wondering why I couldn't find the option...
- Honestly, I'm just waiting for them to drop support for this app at some point and focus on another messaging app.
  
  Messages has been a great experience when I can find someone who also uses RCS, however.
  
  I mean in my experience anyone with Android phones from the last 5 to 6 years has been a good experience with RCS texting.
just noticed this today! im glad they are adding some core features to the web portion
