Why many people are switching to NixOS ?

Hi everyone!

I saw that NixOS is getting popularity recently. I really have no idea why and how this OS works. Can you guys help me understanding all of this ?

Now that's what I'd call a stretch...
- Indeed, why would I switch, already have been running NixOS for 10+ years.
