Sync for lemmy ads

I noticed that every time there is an ad, it's just a grey box with "sponsered content" in it, is this a problem or just the way sync shows ads?

Are you in Europe? If so, did you deny GDPR permissions?
- I am in Europe and accepted the privacy policy, is that the same?
