Their contributions to AOSP apps are awesome. Now I hope those reach GrapheneOS too...
I wish Samung Galaxy S23 , S22 series gets added to the supported devices list.
They're missing because of Samsung blocking custom ROMs (at least on Snapdragon/US variants). Blame Samsung
You could use a gsi like I do, S22U here, only issue is SMS reception which Samsung broke with OneUi 6.0
Have been wanting to switch to this but have certain apps that I have to use for work and I'm too ignorant to know if regular apps will work on this OS? Can anyone inform me of whether or not some of these apps would work? They're not any apps that would be widely known, they are specific to my job but can be found on the Play store. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
In general, the majority of apps should work on a de-googled phone (lineage, graphene, calyx, etc). That said, there are a few apps that require a feature called SafetyNet to ensure the system hasn't been modified. Apps with this feature will not work and are generally limited to banking/financial type apps.
You can check here https://plexus.techlore.tech/ and ask on the lineageos community forums (lemmy, reddit ecc)
It's best if you have a test device to try them on though
Cool thanks! Might have a phone I can use to try it out but I'll ask on the options you have first. Appreciated.
