Isn't Lance Corporal the lowest rank one can have in the US Marine Corps? The headline makes it sound like its a systemic issue, but to me, it just seems like some Marines straight out of training are nut jobs.
I could be wrong though
Lance Corporal is the third rank from the bottom (E-3). It's still very low but Private (E-1) and Private First Class (E-2) are lower.
