I’m going to move it lower to the ground in an effort to attract house finches. Otherwise the sparrows will take it and they are invasive.

I bought some bottle gourd seeds that I'm going to try and grow this year. Hopefully I can keep the vine borers at bay.
3 0 ReplyI was finally able to keep the vibe borers from killing my zucchini last year. Maybe I just got lucky, but this combo worked for me:
- Manual picking of eggs - I usually do this daily.
- Cover bottom of vines with aluminum foil.
- Spray with Bt. Follow package instructions, usually spray once or twice per week, depending on if it rained heavily.
