Well yeah. It makes sense when you remember that these people buy that bad things happen because God is unhappy with us. The economy is suffering, because we let drag queens read to children, and that offends God. It's just the same magical thinking as followers of Apollo trying to appease their god. But now it's being hijacked by much bigger and more complex political and propoganda machine.
