[Playstation Lifestyle] Ex PlayStation Boss Says Obsession With Lengthy Games and Photorealism Has to Go

As an adult, innovative gameplay and/or mechanics interest me way more than graphics. I'll take Fez or Yoku's Island Express over graphical fidelity any day of the week. To a certain extent high quality graphics just becomes a measure of how much electricity and money you are willing to throw at a game and that's just not interesting to me. Length, one way or the other, is largely irrelevant to me as long as the game is satisfying. The relatively short length of the original Portal made that game more impactful imo. A game that's too long can often wear out it's welcome.

I think it's funny that people felt the need to downvote your opinion. People can like different things. It's allowed and should be encouraged.
