This was much better than expected.

It starts out as a modern gritty realistic mechs show, then...

"What the hell is the song that's playing?"

"Now shout it with me! The name of our special attack!"

I feel completely trolled, and that's a good thing.

I haven't watched the second episode yet.

I haven't watched this show, but the OP is one of my favorites of the season.
