Imagine a terrifying world where we are all ruled by monsters of every stripe. And not hot ones like werewolves, but instead decaying zombies and mummies who are both insensitive to, and actively benefit from the immense suffering they cause on a daily basis. The top echelon of society, filled with profit-seeking, bloodsucking vampires. And the worst of it is that they repeat on a daily basis that what they are doing is not only just, but there is no other possible way to do it.

Pretty spooky, right? What if I told you that this world... was our own?

Do Hamas and Hezbollah have any real reason to play ball with the "pause" Biden is proposing? My thought is that the Ghouls in DC know that Hamas and/or Hezbollah will ignore any ceasefire without meaningful concessions and will use that as PR. "See? We declared timeout and they still attacked. That means genocide is okay now."
- A "humanitarian pause" is just a sound-good phrase. It doesn't mean much of anything. In the last Citation Needed livestream Adam Johnson said that no set definition exists and he hasn't been able to get one because nobody will email him back.

  Would love for any of the people arguing for a "humanitarian pause" in lieu of a ceasefire (while simultaneously defending the logic of the bombing itself, as Sanders does) to define this "humanitarian pause" and say how long they think it should last. Any of them done this yet?
  2014 saw several "humanitarian pauses", which lasted 9, 12, 14 hours, then Israel went right back to mass killing civilians. What is @BernieSanders plan after they do this? Why is this a morally preferable position to simply and clearly demanding the bombing itself stop?

- "Humanitarian Pause" is probably just an excuse to send in 100 aid trucks, half of which are filled with IDF and American commandos, to map for tunnels and do sabotage and spook shit run amok in Gaza. If Hamas tries to inspect any of the aid trucks, they will screech and moan about "Hamas interfering with aid" and end the pause or do more strikes
