They’ll probably only send people with families so they can take them in hostage if a soldier flees
To flee North Korea requires playing a long game, marry someone you hate.
Ukraine takes prisoners, so immediately surrendering is a pretty good escape plan. Just make sure to avoid the Russian troops dedicated to killing deserters.
Avoid, frag, potayto, potahto.
Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew
Grenades are easier, but sure, that'd work.
