Considering there were clubs still trying to sign Goodwillie, for a lot of people still in the sport all that matters is that they can kick ball good. That needs to change. (Tbh our club can also do a bit of self-reflection as well)
Tbh I think I've come to terms with the fact that clubs won't consider the ethics of playing criminals. The mentality at any of the biggest clubs is win no matter what. You can't seriously expect a club to consider anything other than their image, finances and potential public backlash compared to the benefits of playing the player in question.
